Our Internship Program welcome students from diverse backgrounds to gain hands-on experience working in the apparel industry. Over ten weeks, participants will have the freedom to develop their talents while they learn how our business operates.
Esquel has also proudly joined the HKSAR Government’s Scheme on Corporate Summer Internship on the Mainland and Overseas 2019.
Departmental / Cross-functional Projects
The interns will be assigned to specific functions and exciting projects in Hong Kong or mainland China relating to the business, market research, internal marketing, as well as business, operational or engineering process improvement.
Peer Sharing / Coaching
Provides excellent business exposure and learning opportunities through coaching from experienced professionals.
Performance assessments and feedback will be given to interns to accelerate their growth and ability to deliver.
Our recruitment process focuses on personal ability and merits, which means there is no target in recruitment for the program. Each intake varies depending on the quality of competition among applicants and our business needs.
Prior experience in the industry is not required. In the other way round, we would love to offer such wonderful learning experience for you to understand more about the industry through interning at Esquel.

We not only seek applicants who subscribe to our company vision, but those who also have a strong analytical mindset, learning agility and leadership potential. Some departmental positions might require more specific skillsets, thus vocational knowledge may be a benefit (e.g. Information Technology).

Yes. Esquel welcome applicants from any background. If you do not have the right of abode or right to land in the specific location, you must obtain the appropriate visa before arrival to take up employment.
Applicants can state a preference for different departments during the application process, and we will try to accommodate the request.
Yes. We believe it is essential for interns to understand our operations first-hand. The Internship Program includes different site visits to China where interns will be introduced to our production facilities and other aspects of our operations.
Gaining insight into Esquel through our Internship Program will enable you to display your knowledge and expertise of the industry and our corporate functions during the Management Trainee recruitment process. Candidates who have worked as interns and demonstrated performance and potential may go through a fast-track Management Trainee selection process.
We offer a structured internship program to our interns which includes a departmental project, corporate project, comprehensive feedback and career guidance. If interns display exceptional performance during the 3-month period, it is possible that Esquel will offer further job opportunities beyond the structured program.
Our program currently focuses on students who are available from June to August. Internships in other time frames shall also be considered on an individual basis.
