Esquel Accessories & Packaging receives Silver Award for Smart Mobility in Hong Kong ICT Awards 2019

We are proud to announce that Esquel Accessories & Packaging (EAP) has won the Silver Award for Smart Mobility (Smart Logistics) in the prestigious Hong Kong ICT Awards 2019.  EAP received the recognition for developing and applying the Summation RFID system – an innovative one-step solution to serve both logistics and retail needs.

Partnering with the world class Cloud service provider Microsoft, the Summation RFID system fully utilizes cloud-based and AI technology to enhance the RFID experience. The judging panel heaps praise on our efforts in revolutionizing RFID products with lower costs and shorter implementation time. It also helps our customers' retail stores with better Return-on-Investment (ROI), inventory control and replenishment.

Hong Kong ICT Awards is an annual event hosted by the Office of the Government Chief Information (OGCIO) under HKSARG's Innovation and Technology Bureau. Smart Mobility is one of the eight categories of the ICT Awards. Chief Executive Carrie Lam, who delivered a speech at the presentation ceremony, challenged the winners to continue their commitment to innovation and technology excellence, and create a better future for the society.
