Esquel Group Releases Sustainability Report 2025

Esquel Group has released its Sustainability Report 2025, highlighting its continued commitment to Making a Difference by embedding sustainability across its business. Guided by the Four Pillars of Change — Planet, People, Product and Community — the report outlines the Group’s progress in advancing responsible operations, innovation and shared value.

In 2025, Esquel focused on building networks and strengthening connectivity, recognizing that sustainability cannot be achieved in isolation. Through partnerships with like-minded organizations, the Group is working to unlock innovative solutions, scale proven practices and amplify collective impact.

A key milestone was Esquel’s partnership with an industrial park in Xinjiang to launch the world’s first commercial production line using its waterless dyeing technology in 2025. Developed over nearly a decade, the technology eliminates water use and discharge from the dyeing process, reduces alkali consumption by 85%, and achieves zero salt content. 

2025 highlights include:
- Planet: 28% reduction in GHG emissions since 2018; Integral certified as one of China’s first Zero Carbon Parks.
- People: 48% of senior management and above positions filled by women; 690 workers certified through Vocational Skills Recognition Program.
- Product: 65 patents acquired, including a new patent for fabric-level natural dyeing breakthrough.
- Community: 1,500 attendees of our educational tours and workshops at Integral.
