Appointment of Non-Executive Director

In April 2025, Esquel Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Wei as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Esquel Holdings Inc. 

With nearly 20 years of extensive experience in investment, management, and operations, Mr. Wei brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to the Group. He is the Founding Partner and Chairman of Vision Knight Capital, and previously served as CEO of Alibaba.com Limited, where he successfully led the company’s listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007. 

In addition to his tenure at Alibaba, Mr. Wei held several key positions at Kingfisher plc, including Chief Representative for the Asia sourcing office, and the CFO and CEO of B&Q China. 

Esquel welcomes Mr. Wei to the Board and looks forward to the strategic insight and leadership he will bring to support the Group’s continued growth and innovation.
