Esquel Group Releases Sustainability Report 2024

Esquel Group has released its Sustainability Report 2024, underscoring its commitment to Making a Difference by integrating sustainability into every decision. Guided by the Four Pillars of Change – Planet, People, Product and Community – the report highlights the Group’s continued pursuit of innovation, responsibility, and impact.

It is a fundamental driver woven into every decision we make, a reflection of our commitment to Making a Difference, and a key part of our strategy to ensure we remain competitive for long term success,” said Marjorie Yang, Chairman of Esquel Group. 

In 2024, Esquel leaned further into artificial intelligence and digitalization as enablers of sustainable growth. From AI-powered fabric shrinkage prediction and color-matching systems to visual AI for workplace safety, these applications are helping the Group reduce waste, improve efficiency, and safeguard its people. Meanwhile, the launch of AI Community—now with more than 500 members—has strengthened digital capabilities across the workforce. 

2024 highlights include: 

Planet: 38% GHG emissions reduction since 2018, 13.9MW solar energy capacity. 

People: 70% female workforce, with women holding 45% of senior positions; 19.5 average training hours per employee. 

Product: 218 new patents; 9,900 employee uniforms recycled into new polos. 

Community: Over 200,000 beneficiaries supported; 41,962 free eye examinations since 2012.
